Rattle Snake

Tuesday 31 March 2015

Its still pretty chilly up here in Glasgow, so I'm still wearing my furs.
This ones a particular favourite that I got for a steal in the Topshop January Sales, The snake effect is not just printed on, its cut in layers into the fur, which gives a pretty unique effect.

Still daring to bare my knees in the frosty wind, in my trusty Jamie jeans, and the most comfortable Topshop Magnum boots. Which I wish I'd bought in the Snake effect too, but I'd probably not team with the coat, well never say never, as double leopard can look quite good.

Hoping to be out of the furs soon, I'm dyeing to start wearing my spring wardrobe!

Post Box Red

Monday 22 September 2014

I picked this mini skirt up in Sainsbury's of all places, while doing a little food shop, I love the punchy red, 60's styling and the waffle texture.  Tried out too completely different ways of styling it, a quirky twee look and a more the more edgy metal look.

I think I like the first look better, its more fun and summery, but nice how versatile it is.

Hotel Chelsea

Tuesday 9 September 2014

This dress is a rather recent purchase from H&M, it was one of those accidental finds that seemed to be a return as there was only one, and lukily in my size.
It was defiantly fate!
The 70's poppy red floral pattern and cut reminded me of something Pamela Love might wear, I adore her relaxed New York bohemian style, so wanted to emulate this in the styling of the look.
underneath I wore a black silk lace trimmed slip and black bralet, wanting to really emphasise the sheerness of the dress and wear it like it was a sexy slinky dressing gown, with back lace peeking through.

Hat: New Look, Dress: H&M, Bralet: Topshop, Slip: Vintage, Shoes: Topshop, Rosary: Pamela Love, Bag: Zara, Rings: Primark, Freedom and Urban Outfitters.

(Please excuse my nails they are in need of some maintenance.)

Thank you for reading my first post!
